The core idea of Young & Cultured is to offer luxury products that impact culture and shatter expectations through style, branding and knowledge. We offer the highest quality product for its worth.

 

OUR STORY

Young & Cultured was formed in the month of February 2019 by Sedgwick Pritchett in Mobile Alabama. The brand was created after being laid off for the 4th time. While working at the he encountered a local luxury shoe creator who had decided to design clothes as well. Sed pitched numerous ideas to the creator. They all fell on deaf ears. Shortly after, he began testing the idea in his living room. With a Silhouette Cameo 3 and heat press, he began cutting vinyl. That night as he was getting ready for bed, He heard God say grab a pen and paper. In obedience he wrote down 13 potential brand names. 3 of these were the words "Young and Cultured" written in various forms. The next evening, Sed presented the list to his wife, Kiara. After a brief study of the list she chose, Young & Cultured. Trusting his wife's decision, the brand was born.

CONCEPT

The Creator (Sed) being a multifaceted individual, he wanted to create a brand that reflects that fact. A brand that incorporates race, religion, trends, video games, technology, anime and mental wellness. One that will be mini-representation of his essence and his experiences through out life.

 

THEOLOGY

The owner of this brand is a devote follower of Christ. As a way of giving God praise for existence: Everything under the brand of Young & Cultured has a scriptural context/counterpart. The base scriptures of the brand as a whole are Matthew 18:4 (Live Humble), Colossians 3:2 and John 17:14 (Earthboy). On various products you will find these scriptures among others. It is our belief that the word of God will transfer the energy and intent of the scripture through these items and inspire the customer to reflect and inspire.
